It’s the Price, Stupid

by Kelley Williams Published August 31, 2026 James Carville posted “The economy stupid” sign in Bill Clinton’s 1992 Little Rock campaign headquarters.  He wanted the campaign to focus on what mattered. The data-center debate could use some focus too.  Among other things data centers train and run Artificial Intelligence models.  There is a seemingly irrational race to build the best Large Language Model.  Amazon is in the race.

BPF Book Review — “Great Society: A New History”

I highly recommend “Great Society” (the book not the policies).  It is a great tutorial on how a large group of really bright people with good intentions can make a bad situation even worse with poorly conceived and uncoordinated solutions.
